Football legend David Beckham is currently in Africa, Tanzania to be specific. While some celebrities like to be welcomed with flashing paparazzi cameras, Beckham decided to secretly jet in with no fuss.
He was joined at the Serengeti National Park by his children Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12 and Harper, 5 for a game drive in the park known for ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’ which is the wildebeest migration.
The wildebeest spend their December to March months on the colossal plains of south-eastern Serengeti, before moving to central/western Serengeti and then they migrate to northern Serengeti ahead of their great migration.
The animals then move to the Maasai Mara in millions accompanied by a few zebras and antelopes through the Grumeti and Mara Rivers among predatory crocodiles. The turbulent crossing at the rivers is such a sight that has been named as one of the world's most spectacular natural events and forms part of the “Seven New Wonders of the World”.
Lucky for the Beckhams, the wildebeest have not yet migrated to Kenya and so they caught pictures of the animals.
David shared photos with his kids on the African plains and a video of a lion which he was very excited about
