SportPesa CEO Ronald Karauri has met the President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni over what is believed to be a business plan.

The company has found it difficult to operate in Kenya after the government passed a law which will tax the firm 35% on revenues as from January 2018.

Following the announcement, SportPesa has established its business in Tanzania and is keen on entering Uganda, a move Museveni is in full support.

He sent a delegation to meet SportPesa officials in Kenya last week and today (Friday) he has confirmed the receipt of SportPesa officials in Uganda.
