And a lot of hearts were certainly broken when she decided to marry an elderly Mzungu by the name Andrew Swearman.

This was in a very private, very intimate wedding on May 3rd 2014 at the Dinham Resort Garden, Tigoni , Kiambu county. Unlike many celebrities who enjoy an elaborate massive wedding, Janet decided to get married in an intimate ceremony that had 100 guests because she didn’t want pressure that comes with huge weddings.

“It was a very private and simple event. I did not want pressure. There are those who are angry at this decision yet these are people who don’t even have my phone number. I wanted this to be about us. There are some who are not talking to me. The same people I have never even talked for two years.” she told The Star newspaper.

After close to 2 years of marriage, various reliable sites claimed that Andrew and Janet had split up and her husband was spotted smoking Shisha and looking cosy with an unidentified woman.

Now Janet seems to have bounced back from her failed marriage and is now dating a younger and hot Italian man named Giulio Calauti.
