K’ogallo  Gor Mahia Camp at a standstill after players and coach boycott training

The players have boycotted training after the club failed to cater for their allowances for two weeks now.

Gor Mahia players and their coach have failed to attend training for the last two days after their club failed to pay them transport allowances.

The players have boycotted training after the club failed to cater for their allowances for two weeks now. According to words from the K’ogallo Camp the management is working towards resolving the issued amicably.

Meanwhile the club coach has also boycotted training demanding to be reimbursed 1 million he used while on club duties abroad. The former Brazilian international Jose Marcelo Ferriera (Ze Maria) failed to show up during Gor Mahia training camp Toyoyo grounds.

 “The team did not train on Tuesday and Wednesday and also the coach did not show up. We owe him some money and we have managed to pay half looking forward to settle the remaining so that things can run smoothly,” said Nyangi.

According to Club Secretary Judith Nyangi they are working around the clock to see players get back to the field as soon as possible.

 “The matter is being handled by the management, it's an unfortunate situation but we hope it bring it to an end soon, “said club secretary.

An official from the club also confirmed that there are also other unpaid services including water and training ground fees.

Gor Mahia kicked off the new season well after winning their two games and now they are sitting on top of the table. This is not first time Gor Mahia is undergoing difficulties in terms of paying players their dues.
