The window for Kenyan clubs to adjust their squads is now open and will run till the midnight of June 30.

Kenyan Premier League clubs can now beef up their lineups with a view of improving their respective performance in the second leg.

From 13 matches of the league, Gor Mahia and Tusker are jointly leading the pack with Ulinzi Stars and Posta Rangers staying at positions third and fourth. Kariobangi Sharks seal the top five slots.

The performance can be attributed to their January signings which saw key players like Rwandan midfielder Jean-Baptiste Mugiraneza and Ugandan midfielder Moses Ndawula sealing deals with Gor Mahia and Tusker respectively.

AFC Leopards also roped in notable players including Ghanaian striker Gilbert Fiamenyo, former Mathare United duo of Whyvonne Isuza and Robinson Kamura among others.

Western Stima lost key figures including the 2016 MVP Kenneth Muguna plus dependable defenders Joash Onyango and Dennis Sikhayi.

Going by the league standings, clubs which need to urgently replenish in June are AFC Leopards, Western Stima, Thika United, Mathare United and Muhoroni Youth.

Ingwe have so far signed two players in Burundian striker Alexis Kitenge and Ugandan midfielder Keziron Kizito.
