KPL Transfers Tusker capture Sofapaka and Mathare United stars

Tusker have confirmed the signing of two new players, barely two weeks to the closure of transfer window.

According to a statement published on the club’s official facebok page, defender David Mwangi from Mathare United and forward Paul Odhiambo from Sofapaka have completed deals to see them at the George Nsimbe coached outfit.

 

Mwangi has been signed as a replacement of Shafik Batambuze, who recently decamped to Tanzanian Premier League side Singida United.

On the other hand, Tusker Lager, the club’s sponsors awarded players who were outstanding in the league’s first leg as follows;

Best Goalkeeper - Duncan Ochieng’.

Best Defender - James Situma.

Best Midfielder - Humphrey Mieno.

Best Striker - Michael Khamati

Most Improved Player - Marlon Tangauzi.

Impact Player Award - Duncan Ochieng.
