Barely three months after unveiling a modern eleven aside, FIFA standard Astroturf Uwanja wa Mbuzi stadium in Kongowea, Mombasa County governor Ali Hassan Joho is constructing another major Stadium at the coast.

Joho has confirmed the great construction process of the Bomu Stadium in Changamwe Sub-County via his facebook page showing features similar to the Uwanja wa Mbuzi one.

It is an 11-a side astro-turf field with modern facilities which will allow matches even at night.

"WORK IN PROGRESS. The Bomu Stadium in Changamwe Sub-County is taking shape. The stadium will have an official FIFA standard 11- a side Astro-Turf pitch with full amenities including lavatories, changing rooms, flood lights for night games with a sitting capacity of over 3000 fans," he posted.
