Drama ensued along Limuru-Nairobi road after angry passengers stopped their journey mid-way, attacking the driver and the tout of the vehicle they were travelling for driving recklessly.

In a viral video seen by Pulselive.co.ke, angry passengers are seen chasing the driver, accusing him of putting their lives in danger.

The irate passengers disclosed that their pleas to the driver to slow down fell on deaf ears, prompting them to take matters into their own hands.

Passengers on the 14 seater matatu KCL 740 B registered under Lina SACCO stopped the journey mid-way, causing a stir along the busy highway and sought to instill some discipline in the rogue driver and tout who fled for safety.

Below is the video of how events unfolded.

The incident happened on a day that saw at least 10 people perish in separate accidents involving matatus.

In the first incident, four people died on the spot four people died on the spot while six others were rushed to hospital after a matatu they were traveling in lost control and rolled several times along the Bomet-Narok at Katakala area.

In a separate accident, six members of a Nairobi church died in a road accident along Kibwezi-Kitui road.

Four died on the spot while two others died while receiving treatment at Ikutha Sub-county Hospital where they had been rushed.
