Trisha wonders what married man linked to her thinks about their alleged relationship

Kenyan actress and content creator, Trisha Khalid, has finally responded to claims that a married man is financing her lavish lifestyle.

The rumours have been circulating since December 2024, following a grand birthday party she hosted. The event sparked speculation that a man, who has since been linked to her, was behind the funding.

The buzz intensified after popular Kenyan blogger Edgar Obare shared details about the alleged sponsor, including his profession and wife.

The allegations

The controversy began when Obare shared a post about a married man who was reportedly supporting Trisha’s lifestyle.

According to Obare, the man, a truck driver based in the United States, was using his resources to fund the actress’s expenses, including a lavish vacation.

The Obare revealed that it was, in fact, the wife of the truck driver who had reached out to him, providing shocking evidence that her husband was spending money he didn’t have on Trisha.

The woman also claimed that she had unknowingly helped pick out dresses for Trisha from a fashion house, unaware that her husband had bought them for the actress.

As the rumours spread, Kenyans took to social media, demanding that Trisha speak out on the matter.

Some netizens advised her to stay away from other women’s husbands, while others defended her, pointing out that many other women in the city were involved in similar situations, receiving financial support from various sponsors.

Despite the growing speculation, Trisha remained quiet for a while. Her social media presence remained focused on her usual content until January 6, when she shared a playful video on TikTok, lip-syncing and dancing to a popular song.

In the caption, she wrote, "Si mumejam sana... tulieni bwana," loosely translating to 'You guys worry too much, relax'.

However, even after this lighthearted post, more questions poured into her comment section, with users continuing to ask about the ongoing sponsorship claims.

One particular comment from a user asked, "Naskia tu mara sijui birthday ilikuwa sponsored na bwana ya wenyewe mara uko karibu kuuwa uyo bibi uchukue bwanake kabisaa...mimi naskia tu nakujionea".

Trisha, with her signature sense of humour, responded with, “Na huyo bwana mwenyewe anasemaje?” which translates to “What does the man himself say about it?” followed by a laughing emoji.

This response, while playful, did not provide any concrete answers to the allegations, leaving many people wondering whether the speculation held any truth.

The Flaqo rumours & Trisha’s past relationships

This is not the first time that Trisha’s personal life has been the subject of public discussion. In 2024, rumours circulated that she was in a relationship with popular comedian Flaqo, after the two were seen getting close.

However, the two quickly denied the claims, clarifying that they were simply colleagues working together
