Loyamorok Member of County Assembly, Frederick Kibet Cheretei and parliamentary aspirant Simon Kitambaa commonly known as pepe were shot dead on Saturday at Alfa bar and restaurant in Marigat town.
After finishing the job their killers later on torched their vehicle under mysterious circumstances.
Kamama, who is the chairman of the National Assembly Security Committee claimed innocence in the cold blood murder of the two politicians.
"I am above that. I cannot kill anyone. I believe in fighting at the ballot and not through assassination. The act could be political and police should step up their probe," he told a local daily.

Suspicion against Kamama may have arisen since Pepea was going to face off with him in the Jubilee Party primaries.
The two fell out after election of interim party officials last month, with Kamama accusing Pepee of buying out JP membership cards to distribute to his supporters.
According to his friends of the deceased, Pepee had just returned from Nairobi where JP had summoned him over a complaint lodged by Kamama regarding distribution of party cards.
Kamama has instead appealed to anyone with information on the killings to present the same to any police station to help in the ongoing investigations.
The legislator who was speaking in Mombasa said it was unfair for people to peddle lies linking him to the assassination of Cheretei and Kitambaa.
"Peddling lies through rumor-mongering and scapegoating will not help. Let anyone who have evidence take it to any police station,"
He further added it was strange to link him with the murder since among those who were attacked were his close friends.
"These were leaders who were just enjoying their drink. Maybe, it is their positions in the society that provoked the attacks," he said.
Baringo police boss Peter Ndung'u said the killers, who are still at large were armed with an AK47 gun and a machete and shot the two at close range.
"Reports indicate that they were hooded. They entered the bar from the main road and went straight to the two politicians," Ndung'u said.
He reassured the public that they are currently investigating the motive of the killing and urged the public with information that could lead to arrest of the killers to share the same with police.
