Raila makes major changes minutes after being sworn-in

The NASA leader made the changes moments after he was sworn in as "The People's President" before thousands at Uhuru Park.

NASA leader Raila Odinga has made major changes minutes after being sworn-in as the "Peoples President" in front of thousands of his supporters at the historic Uhuru Park Grounds.

Odinga took to his official Twitter account which has over 1.6 million followers and changed his bio profile moments after he was sworn-in.

The NASA leader bio now reads "This is the official account of The Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, President of the Republic of Kenya" to complement to his newly acquired status after he was 'sworn-in'.

While holding the bible, the NASA leader took the oath and said "I Raila Amolo Odinga, in full realisation of the high calling, assume the office of the People's President of the Republic of Kenya," in the oath administered by Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang.

The National Super Alliance (NASA) deputy leader Kalonzo Musyoka failed to attend his Coalition leader Raila Odinga's swearing in.

However Odinga reiterated Musyoka will be sworn-in at a later date and said he was still in NASA.

Odinga arrived at Uhuru Park at around 2.40pm and shortly after, the inauguration ceremony started with brief remarks from Siaya Senator James Orengo.

Odinga's co-principals Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi were also missing forcing him to be introduced by his deputy in the ODM party Ali Hassan Joho.

The former Prime Minister then rose to the dais and quickly read out the oath as the People's President.
