Here are some of those hustles you can run and manage while in campus:

Online writing

A number of companies are looking for campus students with good writing skills. If you are good in grammar and language, then this could be a perfect opportunity for you to make some extra cash. One can make between Ksh 1,000 -1,500 per day.

Selling clothes/shoes

Another way of earning extra bucks is by selling clothes or shoes and more so within the university hostels where students are in plenty.

You can partner with a friend to start such a business which over time is set you earn you some extra income.

Social media influencers

Most young people are earning thousands of shillings from social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Companies hire such people owing to their large social media following and use them to promote their brands.

Setting up a gaming centre within the campus is also a wise business idea seeing that many students are game junkies.

A strategic location and ability to keep up with trends are the two most important qualities required in order to conquer the market.

Whether its airtime cards, clothes, mosquito rackets, it is quite evident that hawking has made its way into every aspect of our lives today.

Typically anything portable can be sold to us on the comfort of our rooms courtesy of students who make it their hustle to provide us with this comfort.
