This will be KQ's second city in South Africa after Johannesburg
KQ Chief Commercial Officer, Vincent Coste said the launch is in line with its strategy to assert its presence and expand connectivity across Africa and open up opportunities for tourism, trade and investment.
"We are indeed very proud to increase our frequencies to South Africa to cater for the growing number of our customers who travel between Nairobi and Cape Town," he remarked.
The flights will depart Nairobi every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 3:30pm local time.
This will be KQ's second city in South Africa after Johannesburg and will be linked to Livingstone in Zambia, the gateway to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
The national carrier will continue with its four existing flights a week through Zambia, Livingstone city and three flights via Victoria Falls with traffic rights on all sectors.
