Bob Collymore momentarily exit from Safaricom

Safaricom Chief Executive Officer Bob Collymore has gone on sick leave leaving Chief Financial Officer Sateesh Kamath to take charge while he is away.

Bob's medical leave comes at a time when the telecommunication giant is battling accusation from the Kenya's opposition that it played a hand in the bungling of the August 8th general elections which was nullified by the Supreme Court.

Bob Collymore whose full name is Robert William Collymore was born in 1958 and joined Safaricom in September, 2010.
