This video of Mugabe's son dousing champagne over his $60,000 watch has caused a stir online

Chatunga had earlier bragged that he got the watch because 'daddy run the whole country'.

A video showing one of Robert Mugabe's sons pouring hundreds of dollars worth of champagne over his diamond-encrusted wristwatch has caused a stir online.

Chatunga Bellarmine Mugabe shared a video of himself pouring champagne over his Sh6 million ($60,000) watch in the presence of his brother and friends at a South Africa nightclub.

He uploaded the video on Snapchat moments after bragging that he got the expensive timepiece because 'daddy run the whole country'.

Robert is briefly seen with his arm around a girl before the footage cuts to an image of Chatunga's wrist, complete with watch and gold chain.

While it appears to be the same watch he previously bragged about online, it is not clear because of the champagne already flowing over his arm.

The champagne bottle is said to be Armand de Brignac Ace Of Spades gold, which retails for around Sh27,000 ($260).

The video did not go down well with a section of online users as depicted by the reactions below:

Chatunga and his brother Robert Jr, the two sons of Robert and Grace Mugabe, are well-known for their hard partying lives of luxury.

The two brothers hit headlines in August this year after their mother and First Lady of Zimbabwe,Grace Mugabe, was accused of assault by a model living with her sons in South Africa. Mrs. Mugabe is reported to have attacked the model with an electric cable in a Johannesburg hotel room during a visit to her sons.
