Uganda's Head of prisons service had a peculiar way of turning a page on his iPad — and Twitter enjoyed it

Dr Byabashaija wasn't ready for the advent of technology

Uganda's Commissioner General of Prisons Dr. Johnson Byabashaija became the laughing stock on social media after a video of him turning a page on his iPad in a rather unusual way went viral.

It is not unusual seeing a person lick his/her finger to turn a page of, say, a newspaper but with the advent of technology, one only requires the flick of a finger to ease reading on a gadget such as an iPad or smartphone.

But Dr Byabashaija momentarily forgot that he was using an iPad and resorted to lick his finger to flip a page on the gadget. This happened as he, together with a contingent of other police chiefs, appeared in parliament to discuss Uganda police's 2018/2019 budget.

People on Twitter could not resist but find humour in the viral clip.

Seems like Dr Byabashaija wasn't ready for the advent of technology but we bet he was just cleaning a dirty spot on the screen.
