A Kenyan safari camp has been named one of the best summer destinations for millionaires

An award-winning Kenyan safari lodge has been named ideal for the millionaire traveller.

This is according to findings released by MillionaireMatch, a millionaire dating site with over 3.5 million singles.

Sanctuary Olonana, located on a private stretch along the Mara River, was picked alongside 9 other resorts from across the world as the ideal summer destinations for the millionaire traveller.

"If it's time for a little adventure, this luxurious option can give a millionaire unmatchable views of the savannah and all of the animals that live there - or they take a private hot air balloon ride and see it from above," the report said regarding the camp.

The Kenyan camp was among the only two destinations picked from Africa with the other resort being Zimbabwe's Matetsi River Lodge.

A little different

“A millionaire traveller wants something a little different. Summer is the perfect time for a romantic getaway or to find a summer romance, but the millionaire traveller needs to be sure that luxury is guaranteed every step of the way," the dating site said.

Some of the other resorts that made it to the list include USA's The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch, St Lucia’s Boucan by Hotel Chocolate, Cambodia’s Song SAA Private Island, Thailand’s Banyan Tree Sanctuary as well as Maldives’ Naladhu Private Island.

MillionaireMatch site has been running for the last 17 years, helping corporate executives, business owners, celebrities, athletes and other elites find love.
