Kenyan police are hunting for this rogue tout who brutally beat a passenger to near-death
He is said to have hit the passenger's head on a barricade steel metal cracking his skull.
The tout identified as Felix Mwingirwa is said to have assaulted the unidentified man on January 30 for choosing to board a different shuttle.
According to a post by Facebook user Wayne Wafula Msungu, Felix smashed the passenger’s head on the windscreen and then hit his head on the barricade steel metal cracking his skull.
The victim was later rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital, thanks to the efforts of Good Samaritans, where he is said to be receiving treatment.
The incident caused an uproar on social media with Kenyans demanding for the immediate arrest of Mr Mwingirwa who deems himself 'untouchable' as he claims to have police protection.
The outcry prompted response from the Kenya Police Service, who via their Twitter handle, said that the man is indeed on their radar and has been charged in court three times with similar offenses but the cases are still pending.
“We are in receipt of the case posted below and are following up with OCS Central. The man in question has been charged in court three times with similar offenses, the cases are pending before court,” tweeted the Police.
