5 World Cup group stage matches you absolutely can’t miss!

While all of England's games will be a must-watch, these are the other fixtures football fans should mark in their diaries.

A total of 64 games will be played in 12 venues in 11 cities this summer across Russia.

Now that the teams have been drawn, we look at the group stage games you can't afford to miss when the global football fiesta kicks off next summer in Russia.1.     Belgium vs EnglandThis is by far the most mouthwatering game from last week’s draw. England will come up against a talented Belgium side that has most of his key players including Eden Hazard, Kelvin De Bruyne and Thibaut Courtois playing in England’s elite league. On paper, we are in for a classic game!2.     Argentina vs NigeriaThis is the third consecutive time the West Africans have been drawn with the former World Cup winner in the same group. Argentina has come out top on the last two occasions but not without struggle and many pundits expect Nigeria to take revenge this time around especially after their 4-2 win over the South Americans in a friendly match last month but Messi and Co. will definitely think otherwise.

3.     Portugal vs SpainCristiano Ronaldo will lead the European Champions against the 2010 World Cup winners who are looking to put behind them that disappointing display during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil that saw them exit the tournament in the first round. The Spaniards were phenomenal in the qualifiers but the Portuguese will want to prove they won the continental trophy on merit.4.     Poland vs SenegalThe prospect of watching the striking potency of Sadio Mane and Robert Lewandowski in one match is surely unmissable and with their group wide open, both teams will want to put up an impressive game to better their chances of qualification.5.     Argentina vs CroatiaThis is a cracker or what some prefer to call it a miniature El Clasico that will see the midfield duo of Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic play against a sharp Argentinian attack spearheaded by Barcelona’s star, Lionel Messi.
