Kenya's Opposition leader Raila Odinga declares NASA Coalition a resistance movement

Odinga said the coalition will now be a resistance movement that will push for a free and credible election is organised within 90 days.

Kenyan opposition leader Raila Odinga has now declared that the National Super Alliance (NASA) party will be a resistance movement effective today.

While making the "big announcement" at Uhuru Park, Odinga told his supporters that the movement would push for fresh election in the next 90 days and urged his supporters to boycott tomorrow's repeat poll.

He also asked his supporters to hold prayers away from polling stations or stay at home as Kenya holds what he terms a “sham repeat presidential poll”.
