How the international media is covering Raila Odinga's swearing in

The international press is heavily vested in the coverage

Raila Odinga, the leader of the opposition coalition NASA, and his running mate, Kalonzo Musyoka chose January 30 as the day for swearing themselves in as the alternate president and vice after rejecting the results of general elections held in 2017.

With the country still struggling to get on track after pre and post election violence halted economic progress, the planned ceremony has citizens and residents of the city tensed.

Several international media houses are on high alert and have the Kenya situation high on their list of coverage.
