Over the weekend, Mbalula celebrated his 1 million follower on Twitter becoming the first South African minister to reach the million mark. He celebrated the glorious moment in style with hilarious memes.

Over the weekend, Trump withdrew an invitation to NBA basketball player Steph Curry after stating that he 'hesitated to honour the invitation'. Mbalula saw the drama on Twitter and decided to extend his invitation to Curry, since he could not secure Beyonce’s performance during the 2010 World Cup. He offered him an invitation to Luthuli House, the HQ of Africa National Congress(ANC) party.
