However, on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, Africa saw something different.

Kenya is having its 2017 election as President Uhuru Kenyatta goes against NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

The First Lady of Kenya, Margaret Kenyatta was spotted at Ichaweri Primary School, Kiambu County during the voting period.

Instead of the usual line skip for the First Lady like we’ve gotten used to in Africa, this photo of Margaret Kenyatta queuing to vote has got Africa swooning.

Her presence was confirmed by her husband,incumbent president Uhuru Kenyatta after he cast his vote in Kimabu County.

"I'm asking Kenyans to endure to vote. It is the first time we are voting in August and it is very cold .My wife spent 3 hours in a queue to vote earlier in the morning and she told me it was cold".
