And it was pretty much a plethora of activities for the President during the two-day summit held in La Malbaie, a resort town in Quebec.
From meeting corporate leaders to holding bilateral talks with heads of state, here is a recap of the key people Mr Kenyatta came across at the conference:
Friday 8 June

- Held meeting with President Macky Sall of Senegal where he briefed on the plan to open Embassy in Dakar within four months to boost trade and people ties.
- President Kenyatta also held talks with his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame where they discussed matters surrounding regional security, trade, climate change

- The Friday meeting was not wrapped before he held bilateral talks with Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness, Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard, Governor General of Canada Julie Payette as well as other Heads of State.
