Boy at the center of racist H/M ad is Kenyan and his mom sees no issue with it

The mother of the boy at the center of a racist advert by H/M has broken her silence and spoken.

Terry Mango, a Kenyan based in Stockholm, Sweden has told off H/M critics to get ‘over it’ and let her son be after her son was captured marketing H/M clothing line and wearing a sweatshirt with the words "Coolest Monkey in the Jungle"

Through a Facebook post, Terry said she was the mother of the kid and told off anti-racist campaigners including LeBron James, Diddy and Canadian singer The Weeknd among other big celebrities who rebuked the advert to stop crying wolf all the time.

This is despite even the clothing giant acknowledging its blunder and issuing an apology and removing the advert.

The retailer said Monday that the "image has now been removed from all H&M channels and we sincerely apologize to anyone this may have offended."

A lot of netizens did not however agree with mom Terry with soem calling her "ignorant"

"You cant be a true African if you allow the white man behind h&m dictate what your son should wear without you putting any thought into it.. your the real monkey brain..stop bowing down to the white man n his money..not all money is good money. After that paycheck was spent, was it worth the words on the hoodie and the after effect of social media giving their honest opinion yet u fail to see the reality of it..
