President Uhuru Kenyatta decided to break tradition by taking a stroll down the streets of Nairobi.

He he had a brief meet and greet moment with some of the people on the streets as he prepares to be sworn in next Tuesday.
Uhuru's walk is reminiscent to that of another President of Kenyan heritage in the name of Barrack Obama. The former US president took a surprise walk from the White House to the nearby Department of the Interior.
On the way there, he got to chat with all sorts of people -- from roadside vendors to tourists to locals. Needless to say, they weren't expecting it.
