The two leaders will discuss ways to bolster trade and investment between Kenya and US.
In a statement issued on Monday, White House stated that the two leaders will discuss ways to bolster trade and investment between Kenya and US.
"Kenya is a vital partner of the United States, and President Trump looks forward to discussing ways to broaden the strategic partnership based on our shared democratic values and mutual interests.
The meeting between the two leaders will reaffirm the longstanding relationship between the United States and Kenya as a cornerstone of peace and stability in Africa and the broader Indo-Pacific region," read part of the statement.
State House spokesperson Kanze Dena confirmed the official visit in a televised address from Mombasa on Monday evening.
Mr Kenyatta will become the third African leader to meet President Trump at the White House, after Nigeria's Muhammadu Buhari and Egypt's Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.
