Uganda's President confesses about rare Miracle he received from Pope Francis
The President was the chief guest during the Sunday mass to celebrate the 50 anniversary for Kampala Archdiocese, at Namugongo Catholic Shrine.
Speaking on Sunday, President Museveni testified that Pope Francis prayed for his fractured hand in 2015, and it got healed completely.
“I had fractured my hand accidently and then we met in the UN generally Assembly in New York. When we were going to make speeches, we met and my hand was fractured, so he prayed for me and it got healed,” Museveni said amid applause from Catholics at Namugongo Catholic Shrine.
The President, who was the chief guest, made the testimony during Sunday mass to celebrate the 50 anniversary for Kampala Archdiocese, at Namugongo Catholic Shrine.Museveni also welcomed Fernando Cardinal Filoni, who represented Pope Francis at the celebrations.
The President thanked Pope Francis who visited Uganda in November 2015, noting that that he had become a good friend of Uganda.
Museveni’s testimony comes in the wake of another fiery sermon he delivered during the 19th National Prayer Breakfast held in Kampala organised by the Ugandan Parliament.
