The World 800m record holder was training before the incident happened

World 800m record holder David Rudisha on Friday pulled a stunt on national TV by pretending to be injured while training at a hotel in Nairobi.

Rudisha was pictured having his regular training session at Silver Springs Hotel in Nairobi before having to cut short his training after "getting an acute appendicitis."

The middle-distance runner was treated by members at the gym before paramedics arrived.
