Ghana drawn in Group B of the 2019 AFCON U-20

The Black Satellites of Ghana have drawn in Group B of the 2019 African Cup of Nation (AFCON) Under-20 Championship which will be played in Niger.

The countries Ghana joined were Senegal, Burkina Faso and Mali.

The draw was held on Thursday, December 14, 2018, at the Technical Centre of the Nigerienne Football Federation. 

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria as well find themselves in Group A together with the host nation Niger, South Africa and Burundi.

The two top sides in each group will automatically represent Africa at the 2019 FIFA Under-20 World Cup which will be played in Poland.

The Black Satellites are hoping to be fourth time lucky after winning the competition in 1993, 1999 and 2009.
