This lucky Kenyan just won a $2.3 million football jackpot

He becomes the second gambler to win what is Kenya's biggest payout

Gordon, who hails from Migori County, correctly predicted the outcome of 17 football matches to win last week’s jackpot - the biggest in the country's gambling history.

The winner took to Facebook to share the good news, before the panned official unveiling scheduled for Wednesday.

"My God has shown me glory today, for winning mega jackpot 230m," his Facebook caption read.

This is the third time the Mega Jackpot has been won after three lucky winners shared Sh111,176,374 in May last year, just one month after Samuel Abisai pocketed Sh221 million.

News of his victory followed a live broadcast on Tuesday after game number 11 - Troyes vs Dijon - was postponed.

"In accordance to terms and conditions, the company conducted a public draw to determine the outcome of this game and fully result the mega jackpot."

Ogada predicted the outcome as was published from the public draw.

"The amount has now been reset to Sh100,000,000," the firm said in a statement on Tuesday.

The betting firm will hold a press conference on Wednesday with Ogada, directors and past winner Samuel Abisai expected to be in attendance.
