Football fans complain over biased commentary during Argentina's dramatic win over Nigeria

The commentators sounded more eager to have Argentina progress to the round of 16.

The fans felt that both the BBC and world feed commentators were biased and more leaned towards Argentina whose star player, Lionel Messi, was backed to inspire the team to a much-needed victory.

At some point, the world feed commentator said it would be unthinkable for Argentina to crash out of the world cup at the group stages.

Likewise, the fans argued that both sets of commentators sounded more eager to have Argentina progress to the round of 16.

The Super Eagles needed to avoid defeat to qualify for the round of 16, but were unable to hold on at 1-1, after Victor Moses’ penalty cancelled out Lionel Messi’s opener.
