Kenyan MPs badly humiliated by their Ugandan counterparts in Tanzania

Kenyan Parliamentarians were badly humiliated by their Ugandan counterparts in Tanzania on Monday.

The East African Community Parliament Games is currently underway in Dar es Saalam and the lawmakers have been grabbing national headlines by showing their sporting prowess at the regional games.

These sporting events are meant to break the hectic and demanding routine of lawmakers by providing a platform to network and socialize as well as foster regional cooperation and mutual understanding amongst the member states.

Some of the games on the menu include football, netball, athletics and golf.

On Monday, the Ugandan parliament football team thrashed the Kenyan counterparts 7-0 in a thrilling match held at the national stadium in Dar es salaam.

Central Member of Parliament, Muhammed Nsereko grabbed a hat-trick after he opened the score in the 8 minute, on the quarter hour mark and 20minute.

Aruu County Member of Parliament Odonga ‘Pogba’ Otto added the fourth goal before assisting partner Hamson Obua in the 25 and 32 minutes.

Legislator Brian Arinaitwe then wrapped the business with a personal brace, 6 and 7strikes that were assisted by Peter Ogwang and Nsereko respectively.

Uganda lawmakers were not done yet and in similar fashion humiliated Kenya in netball game with another thrashing scoring 44-11 against Kenya.

Uganda plays Burundi on Tuesday in the other football match.
