A 22-year-old Chick-fil-A employee is going viral for saving a woman and her children in a storm — and it shows why the fast-food chain is winning over customers with kindness

Chick-fil-A is winning people over with kindness.

Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A employees have done it again.

A post about an employee at a Guntersville, Alabama, Chick-fil-A was shared more than 13,000 times on Facebook, highlighting yet another instance of the chain's trademark kindness.

The post , written by customer Lauren Langley on Saturday, details an employee's act of heroism, saying he saved Langley and her sons from their car in the middle of a heavy storm on Saturday and offered them shelter in the restaurant.

According to the post, Langley and her sons had stopped by the Guntersville Chick-fil-A drive-thru for a quick bite when the weather suddenly changed.

"I couldn't see out the window, there was LOTS of lightning strikes hitting around us, the trees were bending completely in half around us, the boys were SCREAMING, and I for the first time since I became a mother, felt completely clueless and helpless on what to do," Langley wrote.

That's when Chick-fil-A team lead Ethan Brogden and his co-worker ran outside to Langley's car and led her and her sons to shelter inside the store.

"She looked very shocked," the 22-year old employee, who has been working at the chain for almost four years, told Business Insider. "Her eyes were pretty wide."

After the storm stopped, Brogden gave Langley and her sons their food on the house.

This isn't the first time that a post about a kind Chick-fil-A employee has gone viral.

A video that showed an over-the-top, enthusiastic 20-year-oldChick-fil-A employee taking orders went viral last month, highlighting an instance of the chain's excellent customer service. In September, employees at a Houston Chick-fil-A delivered between 200 and 400 sandwiches to drivers who were stranded on I-45 thanks to Tropical Depression Imelda.

"I already thought Chick Fil A was the best, but they exceeded the best service today!" Langley wrote in her post.

The son of a pastor, Brogden said his Christian beliefs made him a great fit to work at Chick-fil-A, a company he believes trains its employees to do good for people without expecting anything in return.

"I didn't really do that to be thanked," Brogden said.
