Raila's lawyer exposes man behind Uhuru and Moi's vote rigging

This is a damning revelation, even as Raila leaves for US.

Speaking while addressing a mammoth crowd in Nairobi’s Kibera slum on Sunday, Siaya Senator James Orengo revealed that Mr Kenyatta contacted the controversial man together with the controversial Cambridge Analytica firm, which also rallied for the election of US President Donald Trump.

Mr Orengo added that the US national, whom he only identified as ‘PaulManafort’, was behind the image tainting for Mr Odinga before international community, in addition to helping former President Daniel Moi ascend to power repeatedly and that he “had helped Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8 polls.”

“Even as Raila Odinga heads to the US tomorrow [Monday], they say that the whites do not understand what is happening in Kenya,” Mr Orengo started.

“The good thing is that the man who is used to rigging elections in US has been arrested and prosecuted in the US. The man is called Manaford; he has already been prosecuted,” the lawmaker added.

Mr Orengo divulged that the 24-year-old Daniel Moi presidency depended heavily on Mr Manaford’s dubious schemes to rig elections in Kenya, in addition to tainting Mr Odinga’s image in the US and the UK.

“This Whiteman, other than taunting Raila Odinga’s image abroad, has been helping Daniel Moi to rig elections back here in Kenya,” Mr Orengo clarified.

Making reference to Hillary Clinton’s swipe at the data mining giant (Cambridge Analytica) which Mr Trump allegedly used to trounce her in the 2016 US race to White House, Mr Orengo revealed that even with over 200 years of US democracy, Mr Trump may have rigged out Mrs Clinton.

"They were involved in the Trump campaign after he got the nomination. The Kenyan election was also a project of Cambridge Analytica, the data company owned by the Mercer family that was instrumental in the Brexit vote,” Mrs Clinton told the NPR Radio show in September.

Mr Orengo revealed that the deliberate attempt to frustrate Kenya’s democratic gains have been thwarted by the privately owned firm.

“You all heard what Hillary Clinton said about Cambridge Analytica. It was behind the shambolic election in US. It is the same company Uhuru Kenyatta used in the desperate attempt in the August 8 polls,” the avid lawyer said.

He added: “We have been able to identify those thieves; both from within and those from abroad. So when Raila says something, know there is truth in it. That is, in fact, why he backed off from the repeat polls.”

Earlier, State House Officials and Jubilee Party bigwigs vehemently denied any links with the controversial firm in the run-up to the August 8 polls. Mr Kenyatta’s team maintained that the firm was not involved at all in any plans by the Jubilee party.

Jubilee Party also allegedly contracted the services of a powerful British PR firm BTP Advisers which was behind the TNA campaigns that brought victory to President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2013.

Cambridge Analytica, alias, "psychological warfare firm", is also credited for a massive success in the highly touted Brexit campaigns in the United Kingdom June last year.

By the time of publishing this article, Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee party had not gotten a glimpse of Mr Orengo’s sentiments.
