The Judiciary could be looking for a solution to tame what seems to be lasting acrimony with the Executive and the Legislature, as it comes two weeks after JSC members had a retreat with the legal Affairs Committee in Mombasa.
This follows the unending fights between the President and CJ, the most recent one being Law Society of Kenya (LSK) moving to court to seek clarification why the President is yet to swear in Justice Mohamed Warsame into JSC.
According to sources, the swearing in of Warsame and budget cut in Judiciary are among the agenda of the forthcoming meeting.
In the joint retreat in Mombasa, the judiciary discussed their budget cuts by the parliament and the delayed swearing in of Judge Warsame whom they want his appointment gazetted by the president.
This comes after criminal charges were fronted against Deputy CJ Philomena Mwilu after she was arrested over illegal dealings with Imperial Bank.
