The lawmaker, who is an ardent support of NASA principal Raila Odinga, has for the first time disclosed his political strategy up to the year 2027.
Speaking during the popular Churchill show, Mr. Owino divulged that he was eying the Nairobi Governor seat during the 2022 General Election.
According to the former University of Nairobi Student leader, joining the university politics was all part of his strategy to be at the center of the National politics.

He disclosed that he would then join the race to State House in 2027 and believes he will be the President of the Republic of Kenya.

"I have a plan and my plan was so clear. It was about being the student leader after that MP Embakasi East Constituency. Then 2022 Nairobi Governor. 2027 His Excellency, the President.
"Sasa Churchill zoea Rais wako mapema ndio 2027 ukuje uingie Statehouse,” Babu joked.
When asked if he would work with President Uhuru Kenyatta if his leader Raila Odinga does not become the 5 President of Kenya, he responding with an astounding no.

Babu noted that Mr. Kenyatta will never be re-elected, hence, there ought not to be the question on whether he would work with Mr. Kenyatta.
“If the Central Government is led with President Uhuru Kenyatta, will you work with him?" The show host asked Babu.
“I believe it will not be led by Uhuru Kenyatta, it will be led by Raila Amollo Odinga. So I will work with Raila," he answered.
“So what if Raila does not become the leader of the Central Government?” the host prodded further.
“It is not what if he doesn’t it is when will he be the President,” he insisted.
