Starehe MP Charles Njagua better known as Jaguar has penned a letter to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati asking him to move out from the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD).

In the missive, Jaguar asked the Commission to relocate their offices at Anniversary Towers to another location following the Anti-IEBC protests by NASA.

“As the duly elected MP for Starehe, with a clear mandate to represent the people of Starehe Constituency, we hereby present our official bid to have youth offices relocated from our constituency," the letter read in part.

The MP, whose Constituency holds the Anniversary Towers, told Chebukati that the IEBC offices could be shifted to Bomas of Kenya, off Langata road

According to the musician, the demos were negatively affecting businesses in his Constituency.

He noted that his people will lose up to Sh1 Billion following the new directive to hold the demos on a daily basis.

"In the recent past, your stakeholders specifically the NASA Coalition, have made it impossible for individual and corporate members of my constituency to run their business in peace," he said.

Jaguar went ahead to condemn the looting and violence witnessed during the Opposition’s demos.
