While addressing residents of Nyangati vote during a vote hunting spree in Mwea Sub-County, Ms Waiguru stated that though she had already reported the matter police had done little.
“The police are taking too long to apprehend the tycoon who usually carries a gun,” she said.
The former Devolution and Planning Cabinet Secretary divulged that the tycoon entered into a scuffle with Mureithi Kang’ara – her chief campaigner- at the hotel for allegedly backing her up in the bid for the Nyeri top seat.

According to the aspiring Governor the businessman thinks she is the wrong candidate for the Kirinyaga Gubernatorial race.
Waiguru csharply condemned the tycoon’s act noting: “We can’t be ruled by the gun”.
