Kenyans On Twitter (KOT) went crazy after Uhuru replied to Raila’s tweet where the NASA leader had harshly criticised the President about the sharing of power after the August elections.
During the last few weeks on his campaign trail, Uhuru has accused the Opposition NASA of derailing the August 8 polls in order to push for a transitional government whereby the two factions would share power the same way the Grand Coalition Government did after the disputed 2007/2008 General Elections.
Raila tweeted: "Uhuru is unashamedly propagating 'Nusu mkate' fantasies and lies no one believes. We have no plans of sharing power with you Mr President."
Shortly after the tweet, Uhuru replied in the same tweet saying: "My brother Raila Odinga Happy to see you've recovered well."
Raila cut short his campaign rally in Kilifi on Sunday and was rushed to hospital in Mombasa after a case of food poisoning.
He was later discharged and assured worried NASA supporters he was as fit as a fiddle and would immediately resume his campaigns.
Just like the current situation in the country, KOT was divided in the middle on the twitter exchanges between the two leading candidates in the August presidential elections.
While some applauded Uhuru for his kind gesture of checking up on Raila, others blasted the President saying his tweet was a mockery laced with sarcasm and was not genuine.
