Babu Owino: I was taken to the forest and forced to Apologise while facing Mt Kenya

They threatened to inject me with mercury if I did not apologise to Uhuru

Speaking during an interview on Hot 96, Babu sensationally claimed that police officers took him to the middle of the forest and forced him to apologise for allegedly abusing President Uhuru Kenyatta and his mother Ngina Kenyatta.

On the fateful night, legislator narrated that the officers blindfolded him, cuffed his hands and feet then transported him to the unknown forest for almost 1 hour 30 minutes.

According to the former University of Nairobi Student leader, the officers were out to finish him as they threatened to inject him with mercury if he did not apologise.

Babu noted that he was instructed to say sorry as the officers recorded the whole apology but he refused.

“These people’s intention was to finish me literally.

"I was removed from the police station and they closed my eyes, took me to an unknown location when I opened my eyes I was in handcuffs, my hands and legs were both handcuffed. They took me in the middle of the forest for 1 hour 30 minutes and they said if I do not apologise while facing mount Kenya they would inject me with mercury. The only time we will leave you is when you are finished,” Babu alleged.

The MP highlighted that when he refused to apologise, he was taken back to the police cells where the officers brought over 20 street urchins to harass him.

As per his narration, while he was at Pangani police station the police allowed over 30 Rastafarians in his cell and poured water on the floor to inhibit him from sleeping or sitting down.

During the interview, he said that the OCS at Pangani and Kileleshwa police stations were behind the evil plan to torment him.

However, the Rastafarians and chokoras refused to carry out the ploy and revealed to him that they had been sent to harm him.
