It was pomp and glamour as Risper Faith and her husband Brian Muiruri threw a lavish baby shower in November at Park Inn by Radisson in Westlands.
The two, who were expecting their baby boy in November, invited their close family and friends to celebrate the big blessing.

At first, the news anchor was hesitant about holding a baby shower and told her friends not to throw her a shower as she does not like surprises. Despite her resistance, she was treated to a white and peach-themed baby shower on 23June at the Secret Garden Café in Nairobi’s Riverside Drive.

While most baby showers are planned by your female friends and relatives, Daddy Owen decided to change the narrative by throwing his wife a grand baby shower.
According to Owen, he wanted a private affair given that he is a public figure.
“I planned the baby shower myself and invited her workmates and a few of my relatives. That has not happened before. It is always the other way round, but I chose to organize it myself because I wanted it to be private,” he told a local daily.

A heavily-pregnant Diana could not hide her excitement stating, “Mimi sikujua kwanza nafanyiwa baby shower, ilikuwa surprise so kufika the first thing naskia happy baby shower. nikavuta baha kando, nikamwambia beb tumeharibu surprise ya watu wengine. Yani ilikuwa surprise kubwa siwezi hata explain, Thank you so much because you went out of your way to plan the baby shower without even me knowing. It was a beautiful time.”

Ms Ngima, who was expecting her second born, was treated to a lavish affair that was attended by her close friends and family.
