Agnes is being accused of drug trafficking and the use of prohibited drugs like Heroin and Oxazepam.

The judge of the Kisutu court in Dar es Salaam has order the arrest of Agnes Gerald Waya alias Masogange for not honoring court summon order for the second time
According to Judge Wilbroad Mashauri, she has order the immediate arrest of Masogange as no one from his defense side showed up in court to defend her.
The states Lawyer Adolf Nkini said the case was to be mentioned and given a hearing date but the failure of the accused to show up triggered the arrest notice.

In the case marked Number 77 for the year 2017, it is alleged that on February 7 and 14 Masognge was seen in unknown places in Dar es Salaam using the Heroin (Diacety Imophine).
This is in line with the fight against drug abuse that have been going on in Tanzanian under the leadership of Paul Makonda.
Since the crackdown started a number of Tanzanian Artist have been arrested among them, Vanessa Mdee, Wema Sepetu, TID, and Ray C.
Vanessa Mdee was also arrested after she failed to appear at the Tanzanian Central Police Station. She stayed in custody for a whole week until fellow artist started to champion for her release.

Others who were summoned to record statements are Diamond Platinumz, Idris Sultan, Tunda, Halidali Kavila, Amani,Kashozi, Azan Zungu, Abas Mutevu, Rugemarila Muhataba, and Omary Sanga.
