KTN’s Akisa Wandera promoted

Congratulations!!

“This is my good luck dress. Good things have happened while in it. This pose was random and that smile is my weapon always. Tonight, I officially join the Prime Time desk. I'm yet to decide how I feel about it, but for now. I feel thankful. Thank you for always being such a strong support system. See you at 9o'clock,” she said.

Her promotion comes as the Standard Group owned TV station increases efforts to fill in the places left by former senior news anchors who were poached by rival stations, a few months ago.

Features Editor

In the changes, KTN’s Sharon Momanyi was also recently promoted to the position of Features Editor after working as a special features reporter at the station from 2013.

"God qualifies the called! New role begins as Features Editor at KTN News. So thrilled to be on this learning curve with the great storytellers that are my colleagues. Kazi iendelee, ama namna gani?" said Sharon Momanyi.

Before joining KTN, Akisa worked as a news anchor for Ebru TV.
