Akothee comes to the rescue of top KCPE candidates

Kenyan singer Akothee has come to the rescue of two top KCPE candidates in Kajiado County after their story was run by a local daily.

According to the mother of five, she would help mobilize funds from celebrities and other well-wishers to help raise school fees for the two students who performed well in their KCPE exams.

AS THE PRESIDENT OF SINGLE MOTHERS let’s all hold on holidays & fun , I would like to be part of this 2 students tag all celebrities and well-wishers , My hands are already full with with school fee this year, but let’s do this family , tag all the Kenyan celebs here , we need change , hii haitushindi, mpaka gospel artists lets goo , sisi tulishindwa kusoma wacha wengine walio na akili watu somee , kindly give us the contacts tag dem all, SUPPORT BOY CHILD TAG ALL BOY CHILD PRESIDENTS , THEY ARE THE ONES WE WILL SEND TO SETTLE THIS TWO BOYS IN SCHOOL,” said Akothee.

In her post, former Citizen TV news anchor Janet Mbugua also said she was ready to support Akothee in the noble course.

The two candidates Gabriel Ogweno and Julius Taiko scored 440 and 372 marks respectively in last year’s KCPE examination and have been appealing to well-wishers to help them raise fees to join secondary school.
