Akothee offers to sponsor 16 Miss Universe contestants to a three days holiday in Malindi

Singer Akothee has offered to treat 16 finalists of the 2019 Miss Universe Kenya to a three days holiday at the Coast (Malindi). 

In a post on Instagram, the Akothee Safaris CEO mentioned that she decided to treat the girls as a way of appreciating their efforts and zeal to participate in the Miss Universe competition.

“I hope this will lit some light in you my girls , we will do SGR ,I am sorry my Airline @silverstoneairservices is still putting our house together to ensure safety and comfort to all our esteemed clients , so I could not fly all of you to Malindi, but trust me , take this little treat from the bottom of my heart to @rue.baby I love you all and thank you @akotheesafaris @sevenislandswatamu @palmgardenkenya Stay here we are winners and not loosers soja on @missuniversekenya give me more girls 2020 I am here to stay,” shared Akothee.

Cancelled Maldives trip

Earlier on, Akothee had offered to fly her daughter Rue Baby to Maldives with two of her friends, but she turned down the offer, requesting a weekend treat with all the 16 finalists.

“Mama @akotheekenya I would love Maldives yes ... But to be honest I would love a weekend with this lovely ladies of mine because we all worked so hard. Please check your pocket and let me know that which you can manage with…” Rue requested.

The model bagged the first runners up position in the just concluded Miss Universe Kenya Competition.

An excited Rue Baby had this to say after her mother accepted her request, “I made a promise to my girls and now am delivering it.
