Akothee in a fight with Kenya Power after consecutive outrageous bills

Madam boss expressed her frustrations with the power company saying that she has been to their offices many times but nothing is done and they keep giving her excuses.
Akothee in her post received a bill that read 149,000 just three weeks after she paid Sh738, 000 for her electricity bill despite there being a case pending in court over the matter.
She called on Kenya Power to correct their wrong doing and give her the correct bill receipt.

“KPLC Mtwapa branch am at home waiting for you come and fix this mess! I have been to your offices many times demanding for the bill since you never sent any into my mails & always said my balance was nill, and because I never wanted a repeat of you obtaining another 800,000 ksh again, I just decided to bank money on the same accounts based on my consumption, 1 week ago I still went to your offices in Nyali since Mtwapa kept saying their systems were low, I was given a print out of 0 balance, so send your team urgently to come fix this mess, Erase my name on this bill and print out my bill! Stop this shit,” read Akothee’s post.
Early this year lawyer Apollo Mboya sued the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) on behalf of other Kenyans over inflated backdated electricity bills. The lawyer accused KPLC of abusing their dominant position by overcharging consumers in a bid to recover Sh8.1b which KPLC claimed was spent on diesel generators.
