Akothee's emotional tribute ahead of sister in law's burial

Days after getting hospitalized, Award winning artiste, Esther Akoth, aka Akothee is mourning the loss of her sister in law Janet, who will be laid to rest tomorrow.

In an emotional post, the singer revealed that her sister in law, Janet will be burried tommorow.

The deceased has left behind two children.

Today I would celebrate you, but again busy mourning my sister inlaw Janet , who has left 2 children behind😭😭, who will be laid to rest tomorrow at kanyaserega, I want to go and support my brother, but my health cant allow me, I want to risk and mourn with my family, but how do I do it from my hospital bed , should I just risk and go so my heart is at peace 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 rest in Peace JAMES OGENDI OYIEKO , REST IN PEACE JANET 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾” Read her post.

Akothee also reminisced the death of her grandfather, james ogendi oyieko who was buried on a day like this, last year.

On this day 11.24.2017 I laid you to rest , the gap you left in me is still too big, no one can ever fill it, I try my level best to move on,its hard though, I visit rongo less than I used to ,just because I still have my parents and my grandma who gives me a reason to live, 😭😭😭😭😭”. Added Akothee.

She disclosed that the death of his grandfather had taken a toll on her and that she was still trying to move on.Akothee who has been hospitalized at the Karen Hospital over flue and fatigue went ahead to add that she wanted to go and support her brother but her health couldn’t allow her to do that.

On Thursday, the singer was hospitalized, just a few days after she returned to Kenya from Dubai where she had performed at the One Africa Fest.
