Why Tanzanian music is slowly fading – Alikiba

Nowadays artistes do music for the sake of doing it

The singer, who is currently in Canada performing in the Africa Allstar Music Festival, explained that some artists just do music for the sake of doing but there are others who are doing good music.

Talent

Though the Mwana singer said the reasons of doing music might vary, he stated that he could not judge anyone as everyone had their talents.

Motivation

However, he stressed out that giving awards was a way to motivate artistes but since there were almost none given in Tanzania of late, artistes lack the motivation to work hard on their projects.

My Company

He further went on to reveal that his company Mo Faya had plans to award artistes.

Akiliba is currently riding high on his latest song Mvumo wa Radi. He is the director of Rockstar4000.
