Amani releases her first Gospel hit after ditching the secular world

After turning over a new leaf, celebrated Kenyan songbird Cecilia Wairimu popularly known as Amani has released her first gospel song dubbed Jina lake Yesu.

The once secular musician is known for songs such as ‘Bad Boy’ featuring once Kleptomaniaxx’s Nyashinski,’ Missing My Baby’, and ‘Heart Breaker’ among others.

In the song, Amani praises God and asks others to join her in salvation as he is an awesome God. She goes on to describe Him as the daily bread and savior. In a post seen by Pulselive.co.ke, the singer said that she thought she was done with Music but she remembered that God placed that gift in her life for a purpose.

“I thought I was done with music then I remembered that God placed that gift in my life for a purpose. I will not bury it. I thank God for my salvation...May the name of Lord be praised. New music tomorrow”, read the post.

The singer who is the founder of Diva Luxury, a crotchet braid company now joins a list of other Kenyan celebrities to have ditched secular music and followed the gospel path.

Other artists include, Wahu who is the wife to veteran singer Nameless, Size 8; wife to DJ MO and Cece Sagini among others.
